TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data
The IT systems and software used in the operation of this website, in the normal course of business, acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected so that it can be associated with identified individuals but by its nature might permit the identification of the users, through processing and association with data held by third parties. This category of data includes IP addresses and the dominion names of the computers employed by the users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (uniform resource identifiers) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the state of the server data response (success, error, etc.), and other parameters relative to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are only used to derive statistical information on the use of the site, and to ensure it is functioning properly, and are cancelled immediately after the processing. The data might be used to determine liability in possible cases of IT crime against the site: barring this eventuality, the data on web contacts are normally not held for more than seven days..

Data provided voluntarily by users
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of email messages to the addresses indicated on this site results in the acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to the requests, and any other personal data included.
Specific information will be gradually indicated and displayed on the pages of the site set aside for special services on request.

COOKIES
The site acquires no personal data of users in this regard. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any type or user tracing systems employed.
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not persistently stored in the memory of the user's computer but vanish when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to permit the secure, efficient exploration of the site.
The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users' navigation and do not permit the acquisition of personal data that could identify the users.

OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA DISCLOSURE
Apart from the aspect of navigational data, users are free to provide personal data either through request forms or during contacts to request the sending of informative material or other communications.
Failure to provide the data may make it impossible to satisfy the requests. For completeness, it should be said that in some cases (unrelated to the normal operation of the site), the authorities may request data and information pursuant to Article 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, for purposes of monitoring the processing of personal data.
In these cases, responding is compulsory and refusal could result in a fine.

MODE OF PROCESSING
The personal data are processed with automatic instruments for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected.
Specific security measures are taken to prevent the loss of the data, their illicit or improper use, and unauthorized access to them.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
The persons to whom the personal data refer are entitled at any time to obtain confirmation that the data exist and to know their content and origin, verify their correctness, or ask to add to, update or correct them (Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).
Pursuant to that same article, data subjects are entitled to request the cancellation, anonymization or blocking of any data processed in violation of the law and to oppose their processing for any legitimate reason. Such requests must be addressed to the processing controller.
